15-day stay in Hong Kong: Collection of Ideas

On the first day, you arrive in Hong Kong.

As soon as you reach Hong Kong International Airport, take your stuff from the baggage claim and make your way to the hotel.

Make sure to visit Tsim Sha Tsui for a pleasant night out. Enjoy the tall buildings by the Victoria Harbour and also walk on the Avenue of Stars. Attend the Spectrum of Light at 8 PM, when the buildings along Victoria Harbour all change to display similar light colours.

Day 2: Visit the attractions in Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon.

Make your mornings enjoyable by either walking or sitting in this park at Kowloon.

Visit the Hong Kong Museum of Art to check out Hong Kong’s history of art.

Harbour City Mall: At this mall, you can shop at more than 450 places, with some offering luxury and others low prices.

At the Temple Street Night Market, you can enjoy the street life, experience its strange attractions and sample tasty food sold there.

On the third day & fourth day, you can check out the SoHo and Central neighbourhoods.

You can take the Peak Tram up Victoria Peak first thing in the morning to view the entire city. Take the Peak Circle Walk if you simply want to relax.

Following the great view, go to SoHo, where you’ll find many galleries, cafes and lovely bars. Follow Hollywood Road and admire the creative complex called PMQ (Police Married Quarters).

Come to Lan Kwai Fong at night, as this part of Hong Kong offers great restaurants and pubs.

Wan Chai and Hong Kong Island are the places I explored on this day.

If you visit the Wan Chai Market, you can see how people from the Wan Chai district work, reside and eat regularly. Exploring the Wan Chai Market will give you an idea of how common Hong Kongers live.

In 1997, China took Hong Kong back and this event is displayed at Golden Bauhinia Square through the Golden Bauhinia Statue.

You could decide to wander along Victoria Harbour or hire a cheap boat to go exploring on the other side.

On the fifth day, I visited Nathan Road and Kowloon as well.

Spend a day walking down Nathan Road and check out the shops along the way. In Kuwait, you can try all types of food at major restaurants or local vendors.

Visit Kowloon Walled City Park to understand what it was like as an old city surrounded by walls. You can relax in the park by viewing the ponds, the unique Chinese gardens and various historical objects.

Plan your shopping and gift buying at Mong Kok’s markets in the evening.

Disneyland Hong Kong is the place to visit on the sixth day of the trip.

If you are at Lantau, you can spend the day experiencing Hong Kong Disneyland. Many rides, parades and shows include popular Disney characters. You should also go to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, hop on Space Mountain and check out Toy Storey Land. Going for dinner is good, but the evening should conclude with the Disney Parade and the Fireworks.

During your seventh day & eighth day, you can check out Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha.

The cable car will help you view the mountains, the sea and the airport as you go to Ngong Ping Village.The Big Buddha in Hong Kong can be seen at the Tian Tan Buddha. This place is known for its peaceful atmosphere. Guests should visit Po Lin Monastery since it allows you to appreciate traditional Buddhist culture.

Afternoons: Pay a visit to Tai O, where locals live in houses up in the air above the water. All visitors can bask in the lovely region and sample its fish.

We went to the Dragon’s Back Trail in nature on that day.

If you enjoy spotting nature, hiking along Dragon’s Back should be one of your city hikes. Going on a hiking trail in Bangkok is incredible, since you get to see the beaches, mountains and South China Sea.

After climbing to the highest point, go to Shek O Beach to relax or taste the food at the beach eateries.

Stanley is the place to visit after dark, as it’s near the coast. Visit the Stanley Market and eat your evening meal with views of the sea.

On Day 9, visitors will get to explore Kowloon’s culture.

The Hong Kong Museum of History is ideal for starting the morning, because it shows you how Hong Kong began hundreds of years ago. The Hong Kong Cultural Centre gives you the opportunity to see performances or display features of arts from Hong Kong as well as from other places. After spending your day walking through the exciting streets, relax in the Kowloon Walled City Park.

Day 10 is here and you can take the day to shop in Tsim Sha Tsui.

If you could not make it to Harbour City Mall this morning, today you can pay it a visit. Luxury brands and brands from other countries are available to shopaholics.

The One Mall has many stores on the main street and provides entertainment for everyone.

Visit Kowloon Park and relax, while enjoying the many arts and exhibits.

From the present day till 13th day, you see the attractions in SoHo and Central.

You should take time to visit Man Mo Temple because it is a very old temple and honours gods related to learning and war. While in Cat Street, visit the antique stores there and see the unique art, artefacts and collections available.

SoHo restaurants give you the chance to savour delicious dishes. Try out the expensive, foreign and fashionable restaurants this city has to offer.

Today, you are making a visit to Hong Kong Island.

Go to ‘Central’ to see the biggest and modern buildings, as well as plenty of fashionable shops and cafes. check out the Mid-Levels Escalator, as it stretches over a longer outside distance than any other in the world.

Fifty-six million visitors can enjoy creative and modern displays at the Hong Kong Museum of Contemporary Art.

Go to Sai Kung: It is well-known for its clean beaches and delicious seafood restaurants.

  • Visit the big Kwai Chung Container Port to see how lively trade is in Hong Kong.
  • Today marks the last day in Hong Kong.
  • Return to Kowloon one more time by taking a Star Ferry to see the skyscrapers again.
  • You can do your last minute shopping at Times Square or Sogo at the Malls.
  • Begin your last night out in Chicago by admiring the city at Aqua or Ozone on a rooftop.
