How Much To Save For Food Traveling In Los Angeles

Wondering how much to save for food traveling in Los Angeles ? I am a traveller and a food lover too. Today, I would like to tell you about my traveling experiences. I have been to several cities all over the world.

And there are hardly any places that can provide me with a gastronomical experience as Los Angeles does.

Daily Food Budget in Los Angeles: How Much Should You Save?

I have even discovered that to foodies.

There might as well be heaven, and that place is Los Angeles, which is synonymous with multi-culturality, Hollywood glam and eternal sunshine.

The first thing that would pop in your head whenever you consider travelling is how much money should I reserve towards food before stepping out of the house?.

I have visited Los Angeles a number of times.

And according to my experience, spending a little time during Los Angeles tour.

One can afford to eat almost everything that is famous Sukke in LA without spending too much on food.

When you are on a tight budget you can comfortably spend 30 to 40 dollars a day to get meal.

There are affordable food stores in all parts of the city.

Therefore you can spend your money efficiently on food and drinks even with a limited budget.

When you wonder, which meals I would recommend there.

I would surely say the small family restaurants and street food places, where you will not spend more than $50 100 per day.

And still have what to eat of and enjoy of.

And of you are the kind of person who likes to go exploring a neighborhood.

Then you can find a selection of cuisines in very affordable prices in Thai Town, Little Tokyo, and Boyle Heights.

In case you would like to have a food experience a bit more decent.

A food budget of 50-70 dollars per day is a great recommendation. This will take care of your breakfast, lunch and dinner and the taste will be great too.

A latte or smoothie and brunch at any local hip spots in Los Angeles would set you back about 20-25 dollars. The casual restaurants in Silver Lake or Venice beach are reasonably priced at $20 to 30 per person. You will even fit into a mid-range budget even when you occasionally take a dessert or bubble tea.

The higher you proceed towards the more luxurious, the higher your budget will be too.

If you want to experiment with a luxurious meal, you will need to increase your budget slightly.

I may make you an average calculation: a supper in a top-level restaurant in LA may cost a person about 100-150+ dollars.

At least in star-chef restaurants or rooftops with sea views.

I did have a tasting menu once in Beverly Hills with wine pairings too, and it cost me a total of 250 dollars to experience the entire evening thus it was certainly an amazing experience!

However, in case you desire to make a special event or a romantic dinner date, you have to include 100-200 dollars in your budget. Do not overlook such daily expenses as coffee, snacks, drinks etc. In any third-wave coffee shop, you can pay up to 5 dollars per drink (a cappuccino) and up to 15 dollars in any rooftop bar.

I would mostly tend to stay in places with kitchenettes in most instances. This will enable me to make breakfast or make snacks that will be used during sightseeing.

On the whole, concluding, my advice is that you must set yourself a budget of 40-70 dollars a day for food, and everything will depend on how comfortable you will be and what to eat actually. The most suitable budget of food in case of 5 days spent in the trip would be 200-350 dollars.
