Ultimate Guide For Utah And Arizona Road Trip: Everyone loves to have a road trip and in today’s segment we will tell you about the itinerary for going on a road trip to Utah And Arizona Southwest Usa.
Many people in the Southwest USA take road trips to Utah and Arizona several times in just one year. It is crowded in every season whether it is summer, winter or even monsoon. Well, let’s just start today’s segment of our traveling blogs series.
Day 1 3: Zion National Park
Zion is a national park which is visible from flying to Las vegas. It has two best places, the valley of fire and phoenix. It is easy to rent a car and you can travel point to point with different stopping destinations.
Must Do Activities:
- Canyon Overlook Trail A shorter and easier way to hike with beautiful views on Zion canyon.
- Emerald Pools A series of pools and waterfalls reached by multiple trails.
- The Narrows Hike through the Virgin River, a unique and unforgettable experience
Day 4: Bryce Canyon National Park
The second place in the virtual tour is the Bryce Canyon National Park, which is identifiable by its odd rocks that are termed hoodoos to make the park associate with the outlandish environment there.
Must Do Activities:
- Sunrise and Sunset Points: These are the sceneries that will always decorate their minds due to the spectacular views, especially when the moving light brings out the red rocks.
- Navajo Loop and Queen Garden Trail: It has been billed as the definitive means by which one can truly be part of the unique landscape of the park as you literally get to mingle between the towering hoodoos.
Day 5 6: Capitol Reef National Park
Capitol Reef National Park, although apparently less well known than its neighbors, is often reproached of its rough splendor and ease of not being overwhelmed by scores of tourists. It is posed as the place to visit when one wants to have a more relaxing holiday.
Must Do Activities:
- Scenic Drive: This is always a drive that is advised due to its amazing sceneries including the rock formations, cliffs and canyons.
- Hickman Bridge Trail: It is usually labeled as a fairly easy trail that ends at a huge natural arch and there are some great photo opportunities as well.
- Temple of the Sun and Moon: This is an aperture of high monoliths in the secluded Cathedral Valley which is usually called wondrous.
Day 7: Goblin Valley State Park and Little Wild Horse Canyon
The hidden gem of Utah, the goblin valley. The park is filled with strange mushroom shaped rock formations. The park features thousands of hoodoos, referred to locally as goblins which are formations of mushroom shaped rock pinnacles, some as tall as several yards (meters).
The distinct shapes of these rocks result from an erosion resistant layer of rock atop relatively softer sandstone.
Must Do Activities:
- Go to Goblins: You can walk amongst goblin like rock structures and it is an interesting experience. It is pretty much level and non technical, and it is not that big of a mass.
Little Wild Horse Canyon is in my list of favorite slot canyons and is just a brief drive away in Goblin Valley.
Must Do Activities:
- It is commonly praised as a magical experience because of the narrow and winding pathways, and towering walls as well as being cited, often due to its ease, as an excellent introduction to the slot canyons of Utah.
Day 8 9: Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks
- Arches National Park
This is a rather frequent source of confusion since it is so deeply entwined with these picturesque natural sites. Imagine that Moab is your mother ship in order to visit these marvelous parks and red rock country.
Must Do Activities:
- Delicate Arch: It is an arch that is a symbol of Utah, and it is a must to pass the trail to watch the beautiful arch. The sunset scene is exceptionally stunning.
- Windows Section: This part has some big arches, which are not difficult to walk on and take photoshoots.
Canyonlands National Park
Canyonlands is large and separated into four districts. The most accessible district is the Island in the Sky.

Must Do Activities:
- Mesa Arch (Canyonlands National Park): The trail is considered short and is highly rated as the path to one of the most amazing arches which are located on the edge of a cliff and looking over the canyon. Majority of the photographers will like the iconic photograph in the sunrise.
- Grand View Point (Canyonlands National Park): Well, the name is self explanatory here, the view point offers breathtaking views of the rugged landscape of the park that attracts visitors.
